Process

How contractor work moves from estimate to final inspection

1

Review the property and goals

We meet in the home or commercial property to discuss the requested rooms, surfaces, cabinets, exterior areas, and carpentry needs.

2

Agree what the work includes

We identify preparation, repairs, materials, access needs, and the finish each area requires before the work plan is agreed.

3

Protect connected work areas

Our crew covers related surfaces and organizes the site before repair, sanding, priming, painting, or cabinet work begins.

4

Complete preparation and painting

We carry out supported repairs and painting in the planned order, while keeping project details aligned with the agreed scope.

5

Review the finished work

A lead paint crew member conducts a final inspection with the customer and reviews the completed work.

Why customers choose this contractor scope

One plan for connected work

Customers with painting and carpentry needs can review both parts during the same planning stage. This fits projects where repair work must happen before coatings.

Preparation follows the surface

Our crew protects nearby areas and checks the condition of the work surface before painting. Customers should expect repairs, caulking, sanding, or priming when the surface calls for it.

A clear limit on project fit

A project that needs structural engineering, major construction, or a trade outside painting and carpentry may require another specialist. We focus on the listed painting, cabinet, commercial, and carpentry services.

These guys did an awesome job! They have a well trained team that works closely together to get the job done on time and on budget. They also did a number of other repairs on the interior and exterior ( removed dry rot, repair drywall, etc.) before they could even start the painting. I would highly recommend them!

We had been putting off painting our house because there is never a great time to do so. After we decided to do it, we got 6 bids, some where very low, with low grade products, other very high with outrageous considerations, Jeff and his team came dead in the middle with amazing notes from the first visit, careful workmanship and with top of the line quality product. Scheduling was a breeze with Lorena make it so easy for us even with a busy schedule during the summer. The best experience we've had, we basically did not notice the team was working. They arrived every day super early, left the area pristine, and delivered a great quality outcome in the entire exterior job. We are super happy with the pain, the look and all the recommendation and fixes the team did. We will definitely work with 365Painting Solutions for all of our future painting needs. Thank you for making this experience simple and painless.

Questions customers ask about coordinated painting work

What work does a general contractor coordinate for a painting project?

Trade scheduling coordinates preparation, repairs, materials, painting, access, and final checks for connected property work. PainterRedmondwa.com reviews the requested areas and sets a plan around the actual scope. Customers can discuss interior painting, exterior painting, cabinets, commercial spaces, and carpentry during the consultation. The work stays focused on the services our crew provides.

How should I compare estimates for painting and carpentry?

Estimates should show the areas, preparation, repairs, materials, finish work, and cleanup included. Customers should compare the work scope, not only the final figure. Ask whether cabinets, trim, drywall, caulking, or damaged surfaces need separate preparation. A clear estimate makes it easier to see what each contractor plans to complete.

Which surfaces need inspection before painting starts?

Walls, trim, cabinets, exterior surfaces, and repaired areas need inspection before paint is applied. Surface condition controls sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and finish selection. Customers should point out peeling paint, stains, cracks, damaged wood, and areas that need a new color. The crew can then place those details in the work plan.

When is cabinet painting a better fit than refacing?

Cabinet painting suits sound cabinet boxes and doors that need a new finish. Refacing fits cabinets that need new visible surfaces while the layout remains useful. Our consultation reviews the cabinet condition, finish goal, and carpentry needs. Customers should ask which parts will be painted, repaired, or replaced before choosing the scope.

Why does preparation change the painting estimate?

Preparation changes the estimate because damaged, dirty, glossy, or uneven surfaces need extra work before coating. Repairs may include patching, sanding, caulking, priming, or carpentry. Customers can help by identifying known problem areas during the in-home meeting. The crew then reviews the surface and includes the needed preparation in the plan.

What should I prepare before an interior painting consultation?

Customers should identify the rooms, colors, cabinets, trim, repairs, and access details they want reviewed. Moveable items and wall decorations can be discussed during planning. Photos may help explain the project, but an in-home meeting gives the crew a better view of surface condition. The consultation then supports a more useful estimate.

How does the final inspection work after painting?

The final inspection reviews the finished work with a lead paint crew member. Customers can walk through the painted areas and discuss the agreed scope, trim, cabinets, repairs, and cleanup. This review takes place after the planned work is complete. Any question about the finish can be raised while the project details are still fresh.
